Eén kaart voor 3 challenges! Bij Crafty Creations Challenge #8 is het thema 'konijntjes'. Ik dacht dadelijk aan deze leuke Penny Black stempel en het mooie DP uit de 'Sultry' reeks van Basic Grey. Deze week bij Stamp Something een geweldige sketch die perfect van pas kwam. Bij Penny Black Saturday challenge #42 is het thema lente, dus komt m'n konijntje en fleurig papier goed van pas!.

One card for 3 challenges! At Crafty Creations Challenge #8 the theme is 'bunny'. I immediately thought of this cute PB stamp in combination with the gorgeous DP from the 'Sultry' collection by Basic Grey. At Stamp Something a great sketch this week that came in very handy! And at Penny Black Saturday challenge #42 the theme is 'think spring', so my bunny and spring floral papers fit in nicely!

Murphy's Law or Mission impossible?

Gisterenmiddag viel plots onze telefoon- en internetverbinding uit! Blijkbaar was onze 'black box' defect. 't Was wel even zwaar afkicken zo zonder internet. Ik heb dan maar verder gewerkt aan een kleine attentie voor een vriendin, tegelijkertijd mijn deelname voor de Crafty Creations challenge #1, die gisteren van start ging met als thema 'Harten in overvloed'. Op het stukje zeep (zonder merk) heb ik een hart van Hero Arts 'gestempeld'. Leg hiervoor bakpapier op de zeep en strijk over de zeep om ze zacht en indrukbaar te maken. Neem de met Versamark beïnkte stempel, druk hem in de zeep en laat even staan.
Het bijpassend doosje werd gemaakt met Core'dinations cardstock 'aged wine' en DP 'Bittersweet mousse' van Basicgrey. Het hartje werd gestempeld met VersaMark en geëmbossed met clear poeder, het randje is 'Burgundy van Core'dinations. Het doosje sluit met een klein magneetje van Basicgrey.


Yesterday afternoon our phone and internet connection fell out due to a technical problem. I got one hell of a 'Cold Turkey' without my internet, lol. I decided to work on a small present for a friend, which is also my entry for the new Crafty Creations challenge #1 'Hearts Galore', that started yesterday. On the piece of soap I stamped a Hero Arts heart. Put baking paper on the soap and iron it so it becomes soft. Then press your stamp that is inked with versamark into the soap and leave it for a while.
The matching box was made with Core'dinations cardstock 'aged wine' and 'Bittersweet mousse' DP by Basicgrey. The heart was stamped with VersaMark and embossed with clear powder; the border is 'Burgundy' by Core'dinations. Ribbon from stash. The box closes with a magnet snap by Basicgrey.

Op Deena's mooie blog 'A Necessary Creativity' vond ik een verwijzing naar de Crafty Creations challenge, waar het nog rond 'Halloween' draait! Joepie, eentje om het af te leren dus! Heks is van 'Stamp of Excellence,Inc', achtergrond 'sponged' met Adirondack Butterscotch, Stonewashed & Eggplant. De scene van Peddler's Pack Stampworks werd met Versamagic op zwart papier gestempeld, net zoals de vleermuizen van Stamp Crafter (Ik hoop dat het zichtbaar is op de scan).

At Deena's lovely blog 'A Necessary Creativity' I found a link to the Crafty Creations challenge, where the theme is Halloween! Yeehah, one more to unlearn! The witch is from 'Stamp of Excellence,Inc., background sponged with Adirondack Butterscotch, Stonewashed & Eggplant. The scenery from Peddler's Pack Stampworks is stamped on black paper with Versamark, as are the bats from Stamp Crafter (I hope it shows on the scan).
