Op 2 februari wordt Lichtmis gevierd. Omdat onze vrienden hun dochtertje Catharina christelijk opvoeden leek het mij toepasselijk om een kaars te geven als kleine attentie. Het is immers traditie om kaarsen te branden omdat de dagen langer worden én om pannenkoeken te eten! Ik heb op de kaars en het label een irisstempeltje gebruikt. Dit stempeltje had ik al gebruikt voor de T-shirts die ik als kerstcadeautje gegeven had aan Catharina en haar zusje Lieselotte.
On february 2nd it's Candlemas. Because our friends raise their daughter Catharina in christian tradition, I thought it would be appropriate to give a candle as a little present. It is tradition to burn candles because days are getting longer, and to eat pancakes. I used an Irisstamp on the candle and the gift tag. It's the same stamp I used for the t-shirts I gave as Christmas present to Catharina and her sister Lieselotte.
Bij Crafty Creations challenge #9 is het thema 'stof'. Ik heb dit mooie Irisstempeltje eerst op een voile cadeauzakje gestempeld. Daarna heb ik nogmaals op glitterfolie 'hologram framboos' gestempeld, het hartje uitgeknipt en op de stof gestreken.
