Gelukkige verjaardag!

Weer een leuke sketch bij de Sketch Saturday challenge deze week! Ik maakte er deze verjaardagskaart mee. Omdat ik de juiste kleur knoop niet vond, heb ik hem maar geschilderd met acrylverf 'light plum' en een laagje glitterlak gegeven.
Verjaardag is toevallig het thema bij TGIF #49!
Bij Penny Black Saturday challenge is het thema 'One for the Girls'; ik denk dat deze kaart daar best bij past!

Another great sketch at the Sketch Saturday challenge. I made this birthday card and 'birthday' happens to be the theme at TGIF #49! Because I didn't find the perfect button, I painted it with 'light plum' acrylics and gave it a layer of glitter lacquer.
At Penny Black Saturday challenge the theme is 'One for the girls'; I think this card fits here!

TGIF 'women'

De TGIF-challenge #48 heeft als (dankbaar) onderwerp 'vrouwen'. Ik herinnerde me opeens dat ik hier een heel geschikt papier van K&Company voor had waarop allerlei synoniemen voor 'vrouw' staan. De stempel is 'Woman in repose'(een 'contradictio in terminis') van Rubber Stampede.

The TGIF challenge #48 is all about women, isn't that a great subject! I suddenly remembered a great paper in my stash from K&Company, with all different kind of words, all referring to 'woman'. The stamp is 'Woman in repose' (a 'contradictio in terminis') by Rubber Stampede.

Geslaagd! Graduated!

Na 4 jaar studeren, gecombineerd met full-time werken en een huishouden, mag ik me nu officieel 'Bachelor in Sociaal Werk' noemen! We zijn met z'n zessen (meisjes aan de macht) om als eerste in combinatie avond- en dagschool ons diploma te behalen! Deze housemouse is de inspiratie voor de kaart die ik voor m'n collega-studentes ga maken.

After 4 years of study, combined with a full-time job and household, I'm now an official 'Bachelor in Social Work'! We are only with 6 (Girl power) to achieve this! This housemouse will figure on the card I'm going to make for my fellow students.
